ABOUT
I studied law at the University of Western Australia and, having completed my articles at a medium-sized inner city commercial litigation firm, I was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 2003. In the following 4 years I worked as a solicitor and then senior associate.
I have worked as an employed lawyer on a part-time basis after having each of my 3 children.
In recent years, I have taken time off from paid work to look after my family and have also volunteered my time at the Mental Health Law Centre.
MVC Legal was set up to allow me to stay connected with my career and to deliver a personable, comfortable and convenient legal service to the community. Visiting a lawyer in the city or in any formal office environment can be a difficult and overwhelming task. I pride myself on my ability to relate to clients – I am a daughter, a sister, a mother and a partner – I understand the complexity of family and personal relationships. I will take the time to listen to what you want and advise you on the best way to achieve it and the matters (legal and non-legal) to consider, with honesty and sensitivity. I want you to feel confident in the documents I create – I will take the time to explain the purpose and importance of the documents and provide practical and considered solutions, not only as to content but in relation to the storage and communication of the documents to relevant parties.
My aim is to provide quality legal services delivered with integrity, sensitivity and professionalism.
